Biography



A Business Affair - Corporate & Commercial Event Planning Services is a firm that was created by Paulina A. Ruiz. She possesses a Bachelor of Commerce Honours degree with a double major in Marketing and Strategic Human Resources Management. Along with her undergraduate degree she has also completed her Certificate in Human Resource Management and is near completion of her CMA designation. Her passion and interest in the event planning sector has led her to pursue an education in this area.

Ms. Ruiz is fluent in English, French, and Spanish and has extensively travelled around the world. She has self-studies in protocol and business etiquette and has previously worked in the near past for the Federal Government in this area. Over the years she has acquired several necessary skills in order to excel in the business environment. Along with the above mentioned she also has strong interpersonal skills and acts in a manner of professionalism.

Paulina has also given back to the community by volunteering her time and skills. Such establishments are as follows: The Alliance Francaise, Ecole Laverendrye, and Cancer Care Manitoba to name just a few. In her university years she sat on the Corporate Relations Subcommittee as Vice President and liaised with the corporate community for the benefit of the business school's student body.

Her experience in the corporate world ranges from not for profit to public and private firms. Her involvement in the corporate world has allowed her to understand the dynamics of diverse work climates.

Paulina has the necessary aptitude in order to successfully incorporate and facilitate any business event. Her type A personality will not only get the job done, but get the job done right.
